This is the second half of the NXLevel live semi finals. All of the contestants are competing to win a £5,000 promotional prize including photoshoots, studio time, a professional music video and much more. Before they can win the grand prize, first they must win the hearts of both the audience as well as our panel of judges. In this episode our panel of judges consist of Bizzie Dixon, Javstar, and our guest judge for this episode is none other than hip hop DJ El Visheo.

The NXLevel 2011/12 competition has sadly come to an end!!
The NXLevel team would like to say a massive congratulations to our NXLevel 2011/12 champion, Mr. Curtis Clacey, who has indeed(!) won the promotional package worth £5,000.
A big congratulations to Mark Elliott, who made the final 2 and Izzy Marie Hill, Feeva Dan and Bass Ventura for making the final 5.
To all the finalists, who performed at the NXLevel finals, congratulations for getting this far into the competition. You were all a big part of what was a fantastic and successful live final!!
And finally, to all the acts, auditionees, semi-finalists and finalists - Without you, there’d be no NXLevel!! Whether you made it to the live shows or not, you did a fantastic job, continue to work hard, always believe you can archive your dreams, always put 150% into your work and continue to take your music to the NXLevel.

The 2nd semi-final may have come to an end but it will surely be remembered as the moment NXlevel came of age!
The electrifying show, hosted by the superb Deano Presto kicked off with a bang as Boss-Man Tha Orator wowed the judges and set the standard remarkably high with a performance that incorporated a Sitar player, a female backing vocalist and two MC’s, including Boss-Man himself…If El Vishio (this semi-finals guest judge) wasn’t aware of the standard of the competition, he was now!
Joined by the regular NXlevel judges Javstarr and Bizzi Dixon, all three continued to provide their perceptive and insightful critique of the acts but couldn’t resist the simple brilliance of 9-Ryhme, C James and Izzy Marie Hill as they gave them all the a big thumbs up. Matthew R got through to the elimination phase via the public vote as his club banger hit a chord with the pumped up crowd.
The atmosphere hit fever pitch when an impromptu dance off hit the floor in the half time break and went through the roof when a major shock hit the competition as the much fancied Alice Hickman received a unified ‘Not Today’ from the judges…it just goes to show that no one is safe!
Jamstar, Curtis and Feeva Dan knew they had to raise their game and did so with supreme swagger as they all received a full set of Yes’s from the suitably impressed judges. Lacky C showed his popularity and public appeal by walking it through via the public vote.
With nine acts through and only five places available the heart-breaking elimination round was inevitable and when the judges ultimately chose Boss-Man, Curtis and Feeva Dan the remaining acts had to sweat it out in the public vote which was almost too tight to call!
The tension in the atmosphere was palpable as Deano slowly revealed the results…C James and then…Izzy Marie Hill…who would have called it? What a show for the crowd in the Music Cafe including likes of Mark Morrison to witness.
If you missed out then do not make the same mistake twice! The Final will be held at The Music Cafe on Friday, 24th February 2012 and is set to be a sell-out so get your tickets in early to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased at The Hub, WellGosh and 9Bar. Alternatively tickets will available on-line soon! So stay tuned!
